Welcome to Scrafana
Tenuta Scrafana sits nobly atop of a hill of Montevarchi, in the area of Valdarno Superiore and Chianti.
The Tenuta has been around since ancient times, with its land walked by Mammuth in the Pleistocene, and with the name Scrafana whispered even by the Etruscan.
Wine Elegance
Our wines speak of a passion and love for our land. Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and Trebbiano grapes, aged in amphorae, oak, or cement, to express the very best of our terroir.
Their names are inspired by people, ordinary folk or historical figures, that have made their mark on the history of Tuscany.

Walking through our organic vineyards, cherishing the biodiversity of our land while visiting the orchard of ancient fruits, the olive trees and the pond, with a beutiful view of the Tuscan hills.
Cellar atmosphere
A perfect blend of elegance and tradition, moving from the historic fermentation cellar to the new sustainable maturation vault, designed for quality wine production with a low environmental impact.
Multisensory Taste
Sipping our wines produced exclusively with our own grapes, between stone walls that enclose centuries of history, or on the terrace of the new tasting room, while the scent of ancient wood from the barrels mixes with the intense flavor of the wines.
